It has been an inspiration for many other manufacturers and its CK12 capsule still is one the best microphone capsules built. JZ Microphones now offers their version of C12 "" the JZ Microphones V12 Microphone follows the success of V47 & V67. JZ Microphones have adopted the best qualities of C12 and added their signature by using Golden Drop Technology for the GDC12 capsule and replacing transistors instead of tubes. Vintage 12 still has the same design of the rest of the Vintage series; the inner shock-mounting system, adjustable swivel mount and two layer mesh instead of three layer mesh.
