Great mic November 2, 2013
Reviewer: Michelangelo Trujillo from Ann Arbor, MI United States
I got this mic to contribute towards my journey towards finding the perfect mic for my voice (male, baritone). I recently tried out the Mojave 210 which was gorgeous and buttery but just too spitty in the high end, I also got a TLM49, and have had a AT4033 for quite a while as my go to vocal mic. The Kiwi sounds fantastic and is one of the best of the bunch, particularly when paired with the Blue Robbie mic preamp. Overall, however, simply because of the extended high end it wasn't the most suited for my voice. It's not as extended as the Mojave or the AT4033, so don't let this dissuade you, it was just that I need a relatively dark mic for my voice and have thus settled on the TLM49 or a Sennheiser 441. You, however, most likely can't go wrong with the Kiwi and I would have had no problem keeping and using it if I didn't have other slightly more suitable options.

Blue Kiwi August 14, 2009
Reviewer: Jim Martignetti from Stoneham, MA United States
This is a good mic. I tested it out for a month with an AKG 3000c (a 500$ mic) they both sound good but the AKG was a bit harsh on the high end part. I bought this as a B-Stock for about 1300 bucks vrs the origonal for 2000 bucks. for the money its a bit pricey for the quality differance, but if your realy realy good at mixing and tweakin sounds then a mic for under a G is suitible. But over all the blue kiwi is a good mic dont get me wrong it sounds great with no FX of EQ's. I think if i were to save a bit more cash i would have gotten the neuman u87i...
