The ADK A-51 professional condenser microphone is designed for use in studios, concert halls, and broadcast applications. It is well-known for its wide frequency response, smooth response curve, large dynamic range, and low distortion. Our new type III ADK A-51 mics now have a 3 to 6dB lower self noise than our previous models.The microphone utilize our precision 1" Gold Sputtered Diaphragm, and discrete Class A FET electronics featuring a transformer coupled balanced output. The ADK A-51 polar pattern is cardioid. Includes flight case and shock mount.

Mandolin Division of Gibson Guitar purchased an A-51. The TYPE V now shipping has Toshiba FET’s. "I was reminded of a U-67" -EQ Review said of the original A-51.
