The Black Lion Audio Auteur Quad Preamp is a four channel rack mount version of Black Lion Audio's Auteur MK2 Preamp. The Auteur Quad has found it's way into both pro and home studios by providing an affordable multi-channel microphone preamp with high end results.
The Auteur Quad really does sound great on just about anything but it really excels on sound sources that require some thickness and warmth such as drums or vocals. With an impressive 65db of gain you can use the Auteur with your favorite ribbon microphone, talk about color! Each channel features metering, phantom power, a pad and a polarity switch. On top of this, Channel 1 and 2 feature a DI input making he Auteur is an excellent guitar interface. The Auteur is a highly versatile preamp and in our opinion is one of the best values on the market today.
