    Sennheiser MKH30 fig.8 condensor mic.

Posted by Henk Waegebaert on Oct 8th 2014

A few weeks ago i bought this mic for Mid-side recording. I tested it in combination with a cardio mic JZ Audio BT301. The mic produces a great warm sound. Also the very low frequencies are picked up. Ideal for my recordings of church organ. I have also a Ambient ATE208 fig.8 mic. But he falls of below 150Hz and produces more noise. The MKH30 is really a quiet mic! No noise at all.

I'm from Belgium. Front End Audio sold me this mic at a very sharp price. A lot cheaper then here in Belgium. The delivery was very fast. Excellent service!!
