Mogami Gold 8-Channel DB25 to XLRF Cable Details
The Mogami Gold 8-Channel DB25 to XLRF is an extremely sturdy, yet incredibly flexible analog-input interface cable with a single DB25 D-sub connector breaking out to an 8-channel XLR-female fan-out. Wired with industry standard Tascam-analog pin-out configuration, the Mogami Gold 8-Channel DB25 to XLRF fits all popular machines.
Mogami multicore cables are designed for the highest level of audio performance and feature superb electrical and mechanical characteristics while remaining compact, superflexible and easy to use. XLPE (Cross Linked Polyethylene) insulation provides superb electrical characteristics and will not melt or shrink back during soldering. The assemblies feature rugged and flexible construction that is easy to handle, even at temperatures down to -20°C (-4°F). And each channel has a drain wire and served (spiral) bare copper shield.

"The Cable of the Pros"There"?s a reason why Mogami is called "The Cable of the Pros." Virtually every major recording facility is wired with Mogami, which means that just about any music you listen to has passed through Mogami somewhere in the recording chain""from Fleetwood Mac to Foo Fighters, from Prince to Pearl Jam, and countless others. Why do so many discriminating artists and studios choose Mogami over other cable brands? It"?s simple. Mogami is unmatched for accuracy, extremely low noise, ease of installation, flexibility, and superior quality. Professionals and enthusiasts alike rave about the amazing clarity and silent background of Mogami""technicians swear by it, not at it.
Mogami's story began decades ago when Mogami scientists began researching the causes of audible differences within signal cable. The research was groundbreaking, and controversial, as most engineers at the time thought cable all sounded the same. Mogami"?s approach was unique. We invested years into researching low-loss signal transfer, the result of which lead to the development of Mogami Neglex, a series of cables that changed an entire industry.
The World"?s Best Cable Does Nothing at AllMogami has a clear-cut philosophy. Design cables that offer the most accurate signal transfer possible. This may seem like a logical goal, but in fact many cable companies alter the signal for what they perceive to be the "best sound." The problem with creating this unnatural distortion is that it permanently alters the signal flowing through the cable. The distortion may make a particular piece of equipment sound better at one frequency but worse at another. The essence of the original signal is lost forever.
There is no single magic bullet for cable design. Superior design is a mix of conductor material, dielectric, conductor and shield geometry, jacket stiffness, along with fanatical dedication to manufacturing quality. Only technical expertise combined with years of experience can result in the kind of performance that transcends the ordinary. Mogami uses only pure OFC (Oxygen Free Copper) for the best signal transmission, as well as XLPE (cross linked polyethylene) insulation for high dielectric strength and dimensional stability.
A book could be filled with specs but in the end it comes down to the purist philosophy that runs through every Mogami cable. It"?s why Mogami is a top choice for studio professionals and touring bands everywhere.

Mogami Gold 8-Channel DB25 assemblies are simply the best available. Perfect for running signals at a distance either within the control room or out in the studio, there are plenty of uses for this ubiquitous studio standard of quality which does not change that which you present it. Shouldn't that be the goal of any cable?
Word to the wise: Many other entities offer cables and say that they're 'Made With Mogami' (and the more brazen say something to the effect of "Configure your Mogami cable"). But when you dig deeper, you discover that these 'cheaper' options that they're trying to equate to actual Mogami Gold is some other offering altogether. There are those who are counting on brand-name recognition (Mogami) and you not knowing the technical difference between a 2534 Neglex Quad (which is MOGAMI GOLD) and a 2549 (which is not). And these, of course, are not assembled with the strict tolerances and resulting perfection only capable in the Mogami factory in Japan.
Front End Audio sells only genuine MOGMAMI GOLD products - manufactured in Mogami's factory, factory packaged by Mogami and fully warranted by Mogami, themselves - and Front End Audio backs them up, to boot. You don't want to go looking to claim your warranty when your cheap cable fails (probably at the worst possible moment - of course), only to discover that the company who made it and sold it to you isn't around anymore, right? Some things just aren't worth the risk of short-term savings. So, don't join the ranks of the 'walking-brain-dead' - Get the real deal and actually receive what you are being sold. Purchase your genuine factory-built Mogami Gold cabling from Front End Audio and rest easy knowing that you're getting exactly what you're paying for."
