The Millennia HDOE Expansion Card is designed for use with the HV-3D and provides 2 additional fully-buffered analog outputs per channel for a total of three outputs per channel.
The HDOE's laser-trimmed FET-based output stage has 32 dB headroom and easily drives 1000 foot (300 m) cable runs. For maintaining sonic integrity throughout each output, each Output Expander Option features identical circuits as the Preamp main outputs. DB25 Connectors conform to the Tascam wiring standard allowing for quick and easy field-interactivity with standard cabling. For flexibility with a variety of recorders, 13.5 dB of attenuation is available on each set of 8 outputs ( use this to create safety tracks for wide dynamic sources that may overload converters downstream).
