Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface

The Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface delivers the audio performance of a large format console in a compact and elegant desktop package. With its versatile feature set and intuitive layout, the Audient iD14 will become the hub of your studio in no time.

The Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface is designed to provide a pair of world-class Audient console mic pres, class-leading Burr Brown converter technology, console style monitor control, JFET D.I and the revolutionary ScrollControl, in order to produce the professional sound you deserve.

Audient Console Mic Pres

The Audient is the only company that use the same Class-A mic pre design throughout their entire product range, whether you’re in the studio with an Audient console or on the road with Audient iD14, you’re always guaranteed the same world class Audient sound.

Pristine Converter Technology

Brilliance on the inside enables brilliance on the outside. The Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface provides you with high performance AD-DA converters. Quality in the analogue stages of design comes from years of experience as analogue console designers, and when coupled with outstanding converter technology it enables you to hear audio as it’s supposed to sound. The importance of converters should never be underestimated. Experience audio the Audient way.

Plug and Play

Simply plug in and be inspired. As well as offering you 2 channels of mic pre, the Audient iD14 USB Audio Interface has a harmonically rich JFET D.I input. Designed to replicate the input stage of a classic valve amplifier, you can plug your guitar, bass, keyboard or drum machine straight in and start recording instantly.

The ScrollContro is a virtual scroll wheel. Get hands on control of your software with the Audient iD14’s ScrollControl. With a touch of a button, the Audient iD14’s volume encoder becomes a virtual scroll wheel that allows you to adjust DAW hosts, plug-in parameters, the Audient iD14’s mixer app and even scroll through your iTunes library - just like you’re adjusting a piece of hardware. Wherever your mouse pointer hovers, the iD knob can scroll to control!

Grows with your needs. Need to track drums? No problem! As your system grows, the Audient iD14 can be expanded via the optical input connector, supporting both ADAT or S/PDIF. Enabling you to expand up to ten inputs via an eight-channel mic pre, such as the ASP800.

How Front End Audio sells an Audient iD14

Posted by The Real Still Phil NY on Jun 14th 2017

When just about every major retailer sells an Audient iD14 for the same price how does a dealer stand out?
Front End Audio algorithm is to offer a musicians an awesome sale price and a free delivery. It makes them stand heads and shoulders above the rest.
Front End Audio is David they kill Goliath and they have great sonic stones.
I love the fact that they try harder, and CARE enough to stand out in a SEA of on line stores, they still feel "mom n pop". My Audient works WELL and I'm happy with it.
Wen I decide to buy that Rupert Neve RNDI?
This company will be sending it to me, because obviously I'm happy with them.

    Good product for the price

Posted by Richard B on Mar 25th 2016

Have used Audient products in the past. Good product, well made and built like a tank.

The one area where this product could have easily been improved upon is in the physical design. Many ooh and aah over the preamp toggle switches and hefty feel of the product.

The miss is that the box was designed 'flat', that is the top is physically parallel to the bottom. When sitting at a desk it would be great to have had and angled top, one more visible while seated. Apogee Quartet and the newer Apollo units demonstrate this.
