The ADK Z-Mod Z-49 Tube Microphone gives a very warm and rich sound that emphasizes depth and punch. It's like having the fullness of a ribbon mic, with the detail of a condenser. The Z-49 is a truly unique and lush sounding mic, great for vocals, acoustic stringed instruments, drums, bass guitar, and more.

The ADK Z-Mod Z-49 Tube Microphone provides a roundness and warmth, without the slightest bit of harshness or sibilance. The ADK Z-49 is based on the classic M49 microphone which has been used on countless albums over the last 65 years. The ADK Z-49 provides a smooth top-end and emphasis of chest-tones. ADK's Golden-Ears has chosen the Lundahl transformer to pair with this capsule.
