Spectacular
Nov 11th 2019This is a spectacular sleeper true condenser microphone that is born in Nashville and created with top notch US made transformer and carefully selected electronic elements and tuned capsule! it Is not too big and has a unique Special look to it! It has the true condenser capsule of the famous Miktek C5 that all music recording Gods rave about and how it fares supper close to their Schoeps (At 3 times the price). Just listen to their reviews I have tried it and own it. I have owned most condenser microphones out there. The tone is so balanced, smooth and clear it makes the German made Beyerdynamic TG V96c (which I like and own) sound a hair darker. It improves on the German tone to my ears. The PM5 practically brightens those darker areas of the TG V96c without being edgy or shrill in a way like you would brighten shadowy areas in a picture to reveal the additional detail! For my baritone voice, It has a nice bottom end authority, clear mids and a smooth high end with a medium proximity effect and controlled plosives. This company (Miktek) does not have to advertise like many other companies bragging about their products, because they need to advertise. Is this enough said? Oh did I say that Front End Audio service is just as amazing as the service you get from Miktek staff. Give it a try!
