The Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit is designed for capturing your full drum set. Featuring four DM20 cardioid condenser mics for close miking toms and snare, two SR25 cardioid mics for miking overheads, and one SR20LS Mic for kick drum, the DK7 is a perfect solution for both live performance and studio recording environments.

The Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit contains seven microphones including four DM20 precision engineered cardioid condenser microphones designed for close miking toms and snare, plus two SR25 cardioids for miking overheads, and one specially engineered SR20LS (low sensitivity) for kick drum that can be deployed in both live performance and studio recording environments.

Performance
Whether onstage or in the studio, the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit captures a drum sound that is larger than life. Onstage the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit delivers sound so detailed and natural that the sound coming out of the PA sounds like the drummer is right in front of you. For recording, the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit will reproduce your drum kit with incredible detail and pristine sound, faithfully reproducing its true character.

The Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit's near-perfect cardioid polar pattern is consistent across all frequencies, simplifying mic placement, virtually eliminating phasing issues and ensuring more gain before feedback. The Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit transient response is lightning fast, handling sharp attacks with ease, while still picking up all of the subtle nuances and softest dynamics of your playing. Even the loudest drummer cannot overload the DK7 DrumMic, which can handle high sound pressure levels.

Construction
Designed to withstand the rigors of the road while still delivering the sound quality Earthworks is known for, the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit provides the best of both worlds. Capable of withstanding a stray stick hit, the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit removes the worry of close miking toms and snare. Its right angle microphone head lets you easily and precisely position the microphone to get the best drum sound. Featuring a stiff yet flexible gooseneck, the microphone will stay put once you have found its sweet spot.

Machined Mounting
Included with the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit is an RM1 RimMount for mounting the DM20 tom and snare microphones directly on the rim of a snare or toms, reducing the number of mic stands required. Plus, save time on setup and teardown by storing the Earthworks DK7 Drum Microphone Kit with the mic clips still attached in its carrying case.

    Highly recommended!
    Chris M

You can't go wrong with Earthworks mics, and they stand behind their products with great customer service. The DK7 kit took my drum recordings to the next level. The sound is clean, transparent, and accurate. I barely have to use EQ on my mixes. Couldn't be happier!

The Best Drum Mics I Have Ever Used!!!
    Paul Tatum

I have used a few different brands of drum mics over the years, but one thing I didn't like was that most of the mics I used added "color" to drums. I tune my drums to very tight tolerances for tone and pitch, and adding color from the mic made this hard. Earthworks mics capture my drums with amazing clarity, so now what I am recording sounds exactly the way my tuned set sounds. I am very pleased with this set, and have already invested on additional Earthworks mics for my kit. Highly recommended!
