The Burl Audio BDA8 DAC Card is designed for use with the Burl Audio B80 and Burl Audio B16 Mothership; it is the result of over 20 years of R&D A/D design experience.
Following on the success of the B2 Bomber DAC, the BDA8 utilizes the same digital to analog conversion technology as the B2 BOMBER DAC coupled with the Burl Audio proprietary BOPA2 discrete, class-A op amp. The combination is a sound that is real, open, and huge.

Jan 7th 2023I love Burl Converters! Best upgrade ever. I use BDA8s for all of my summing and monitoring. I feel that anything less would be shortchanging myself and my clients. I'd like to add that their product support is great. I got a knowledgeable person on the phone quickly to help me get these configured in my B80 Mothership. I sat on the fence for a year or two thinking about replacing my old converters with Burls. I wish I had done it sooner.
