"Waves Renaissance Maxx is a perfect place to start for someone looking to move beyond the hum-drum plug-ins of questionable usability that came bundled with the DAW software. Waves have created a ton of great sounding tools in the Renaissance Maxx bundle that countless professional engineers continue to use day-in and day-out despite having the option to use other software or even hardware. This is a true testament to the quality and value that Waves builds into even their most modest offerings. Some of my favorites in this bundle are the Renaissance Vox, Renaissance Channel, Renaissance DeEsser, and though I use the full version of IR-1 regularly, IR-L is at it's core the same great sounding convolution reverb. I couldn't do without the Renaissance Maxx. I consider it a standard accessory to any DAW or Waves MultiRack system."
