Versitile, great sound, a bit noisy January 19, 2010
Reviewer: Tom Test from Chicago, IL United States
This mic is a lot of bang for the buck.  It's got a quality 797 Chinese capsule and seems to be very well made.  With many settings for pickup patterns, high and low-pass filters, and padding, you can get a useful variety of sounds from one mic.

I use this mic strictly for voice-over.  I like it quite a bit, and I've gotten favorable comments from other ears I trust.  It isn't hyped too much like so many Chinese mics.  My only major gripe is that it is a bit noisy, to the point where I wouldn't use it for broadcast work, only for narrations.  For the money though, it is hard to beat and worth your consideration.
