The Stedman Proscreen PS101 is a professional high quality metal pop filter that will provide excellent burst prevention for music vocal tracks and voice over recording applications. The Stedman Proscreen is designed to last a lifetime!

The Stedman Proscreen PS101 Popfilter is super effective pop filter used to eliminate bursts on vocal recordings. Instead of simply diffusing bursts, the Stedman Proscreen PS101 Popfilter redirects airflow downward away from the microphone capsule. Even with close vocal work, the Proscreen pop filter will not allow popping “P's” or “B's” to reach the microphone. The large openings in the metal screen allow vocal sound to pass through to the microphone unobstructed and uncolored, preserving critical recorded detail.

The patented Proscreen filter material and the high strength metal alloy clamp are both finished with a durable powder coating that will last a lifetime of recording sessions. The Stedman Proscreen PS101 can be cleaned with detergent and hot water and will outperform and outlast fabric filter designs. Why do you need any other popfilter?

The 13-Inch gooseneck is covered with a heavy duty vinyl shrink material keeping the flexible gooseneck protected and offering lower noise while adjustments are made. All Stedman Proscreens feature a high quality adjustable clamping knob with a soft Nylon tip to protect valuable studio equipment from scratches.

    Re-directs air flow as advertised

If I put my hands behind the pop filter and blow into it, I can feel the air being pushed downward. The harder I blow, the less angle there is. I don't see how it could block, which is the other reason for buying a pop filter. The holes are just too big. However, I never speak directly into my microphone, so that would almost never be an issue for me.

    Good metal pop filter

This is a good entery level metal pop filter. Metal is much much better than nylon or other materials for pop filters because of the tonal tranparancy.

These things are great, they are brighter sounding than the standard fabric type. It's good to have a few different pop filters around.I was a great investment for me.I use it constantly.
