The Sennheiser MKH800 Shotgun Microphone is a variable pattern condenser microphone offering five switchable polar patterns. Ideal for any recording application where exceptional detailed, lively and spatially precise sound is required.

The Sennheiser MKH800 Shotgun Microphone sets a new standard for studio microphones in the age of high definition digital recording. It is the very fist microphone to fully utilize the wider frequency response and dynamic range of the new 24 bit/96 kHz standard, marking the breakthrough to a yet unknown clarity and precision in audio. The Sennheiser MKH 800 Shotgun Microphone is the first microphone to fully utilize the wider frequency response and dynamic range of the new high bit-rate standard of advanced digital recording systems (for example SACD). Featuring five switchable pick-up patterns, the Sennheiser MKH 800 is a superior microphone for any recording application, offering high clarity and the absolute minimum coloration.
