The SM PR8MKII is a 2U standard 19" rack-mount multi-channel preamplifier that builds on the success of the popular SM PR8 multi-channel microphone preamp.

With eight discrete high-quality microphone preamps and with the addition of an optional ADAT™ light pipe output (PR8IIA ADAT Option), the SM PR8 MKII seamlessly fits into many digital audio workstation configurations. It also features 8 x analog XLR balanced inputs and outputs for pristine stand-alone operation.

Tailored to suit a wide variety of applications, the SM PR8MKII is perfectly suited for use as a front-end device for many hard disk recording systems, as well as adding additional mic pre's to digital mixers and sound cards.
