Hard-to-find cable solves the problem... December 25, 2010
Reviewer: Stu Miller from York, PA United States
Normally, I make my own cables but I draw the line when tiny connectors (such as this 1/8 style) are involved. Too small to mess with, so I buy them ready-made instead.

I had a difficult time locating this particular cable. Front End Audio was the only supplier of the cable, in this connector configuration, that I was able to find.

I purchased this cable along with an equivalent Mogami cable, except the Mogami cable is only 18 inches long (too short in my opinon) while the Horizon cable is six feet long; making it much more practical for what I'm using it for.

The Mogami cable was considerably more expensive than the Horizon and, while both cables are good, and perform well, I can't detect an audible difference between them, so the Horizon represents better value for money (assuming they both hold up over time).

I gave the Horizon cable four stars. If it holds up over time it would deserve five stars, etc.
