What We Think

The R14 is a fat sounding ribbon for sure. The low end and lower midrange response on this mic will make a floor tom sing, guitar cab thunder, or acoustic guitar bellow�! Tuned to accent the lower ranges, the R14 takes hi end shelving boosts very well to bring more balance to the sound when needed. Smooth mids take the edge off of just about anything!
