Peluso 2247SE Details

We have identified some tubes in the American style Steel Tube family which work excellently in the circuit and provides the same sonic quality as the VF14. Each tube is selected individual and the selection parameters are the same or even better as Neumann used for the VF14. The American style tube has the advantage of being available in larger quantities than the German tubes.

What We Think

According to Peluso, in blind tests this mic can�t be picked out from the �LE� version with the German tube. I gotta admit, at the time of this writing I have only heard the �LE� version of this mic�but even Peluso says there are no real sonic advantages. I will report back if I get a chance to put these LE and SE versions side by side.
