Processing functions
AWE lets you perform all the audio processing functions you need to get professional results. Functions include editing, trimming, gain change, normalization, insert silence, fades, and crossfades. DSP filters and compression are also onboard. You can configure any chain of editing functions, processors, plug-ins, external analog and/or digital units, as well as codecs.
Format conversion
You can use AWE to perform several format conversion and encoding functions, including sample rate, bit depth, mono/stereo, channel assignment, and WAV, BWF, and AIFF.
