nice bundle to compliment other plugins September 18, 2011
Reviewer: christopher "Czar" smith from nashville, TN United States
All three plugins in this bundle are easy to use and are IMO the sexiest plugins McDSP has made.

The compressor isn't fast enough for me on vocals but sometimes will get the job done. I mostly use it on drum buss, bass, and strings. The mix knob is great to have, especially for drum buss.

The EQ can seem subtle even at 15db boost but I really like it on vocals and drums. You can't see frequencies your dialing in between the labeled frequencies so it forces you to use your ears and I like that.

The Limiter I use on everything from vocals to drum to bass, mainly to keep a track from clipping that I'm pushing really hot. Turning the knobs you can't see the exact value your at so for this reason I wouldn't recommend it for mastering, but McDSP does make a very good mastering limiter.

Overall none of these are my first choice when reaching for a plugin, but these are great plugins to have to compliment your other plugins.
