MXL is the only microphone company that uses an independently selectable capsule system that produces two sounds from one mic - warm or bright!

The MXL V67i Tube Microphone combines the independently selectable capsule system found in the V67i with sonic character and warmth of the 12AT7 dual triode vacuum tube.  Together the V67i Tube microphone reproduces signals with warmth and smooth high-end while maintaining the flexibility of selecting between "Warm" and "Bright" signal responses. A -10dB Pad switch maximizes headroom and minimizes distortion while capturing excessive transients (peaks).  Its low-frequency roll-off minimizes hum, proximity effect and other low-frequency noise. The V67i Tube is packaged with a power supply, cable, shockmount and storage case.
