• Sports Broadcasts - With three microphone inputs and three headphone outputs RemoteMix Sport is perfect for remote broadcasts of sporting events. Set up one mic for the color commentary, one for the play-by-play and one as a crowd mic, connect to a phone line and broadcast back to the station. It’s that simple.
• Codec Mixer - Use RemoteMix Sport as a front end mixer for your ISDN or POTS codec. The 1/4" cue input on RemoteMix Sport bypasses the output and feeds only the headphone jacks. Just connect your producer audio from your codec to the cue input and send the mic mix back through your codec to the station.
• TV IFB Mixer - Use RemoteMix Sport as your field mixer for TV reporting. Connect to a phone line to receive IFB feeds, switch the balanced XLR output to a clean mic mix and connect to your camera input. The phone line will feed your cameraman’s headphones and the XLR output will contain only the audio from your talent’s microphone.
• Universal Handset Interface - Ever get to a remote site that uses ISDN or a digital PBX phone system? You don’t have to worry any more. Simply unplug the handset from the existing telephone and plug the coily cord directly into the PBX jack on RemoteMix Sport. Select the handset type with the three position switch and you’re ready to go. RemoteMix Sport can emulate electret, dynamic and carbon handset microphone types. This will allow you to use your professional microphones and headphones during the broadcast.
• Wireless Interface - This new feature allows you to connect RemoteMix Sport directly to the 2.5 mm headset jack on wireless phones that accept third party headsets. A special adapter cable is now provided with RemoteMix Sports that offer this new feature.

• Three XLR Microphone Inputs with independent level controls. Mic 1 input is mic/line switchable
• Three 1/4" Headphone Jacks adjustable with "main feed" control.
• 1/4" Cue Input / Wireless Connection feeds only the headphones. Level adjustable with "Cue Input" control. Also functions as wireless phone I/O jack using special 1/4" to 2.5 mm adapter cable provided.
• Balanced XLR Output switchable between phone + mic mix or clean mic mix. Fixed level.
• RJ-11 Jack for use with conventional phone lines. Also has an auxiliary handset input for use as a standard telephone. Handset jack is biased for electret microphone types.
• Universal Handset Interface for use with analog and digital PBX or ISDN telephones. Three position switch will emulate electret, dynamic and carbon microphone types. This will allow you to use your professional microphones and headphones with virtually any telephone system.
• Time Delayed Peak Limiter and VU Meter help to control transmit levels. The peak limiter has a three second delay before clipping any audio. This allows for normal speech patterns as well as brief exclamations to be broadcast unhindered.
• Push to Talk Condenser Microphone and Monitor Speaker are a real help during equipment setup and station breaks. Microphone push button mutes speaker to eliminate feedback and switch disables speaker entirely after setup is complete.
• Two 9 Volt Batteries will power the unit for 28 hours. The batteries are installed parallel so the unit can run on only one battery if necessary. An AC adapter is also included with the unit.
• DTMF / Pulse Keypad for dialing out. Tone/Pulse switch located under the battery door.
• Keypad Lockout Switch so accidental key presses are not blasted down the phone line during a broadcast.
