FMR Audio RNC/RNP Funk Logic Bundle contains one FMR Audio RNP, one RNC and one Funk Logic FRT-8373 Rack Tray.

The Funk Logic FRT-8373 is a one Space Rack Tray for One FMR Audio RNP8380 Preamp and One RNC1773 Compressor.

The RNC is a high-fidelity, stereo compressor intended to provide dynamic range control with minimal side effects. The RNC achieves such high performance at a low cost by using evolutionary advances in digital technology, coupled with the best analog has to offer. Using digital controls and an all-analog signal path, the RNC offers accurate, precise controls and a clean tonal character.

The RNC provides two modes of operation: normal and SuperNice. Normal mode allows the RNC to be used for everyday compression tasks, like punchy snare drums or bass guitars, and is great for everything from gentle compression to serious squashing. SuperNice mode provides near-invisible signal compression for sensitive material where compression artifacts are less desirable (like vocals, acoustic guitar or the program bus).

The RNP is a pair of separate micpres providing up to 66dB of gain at vanishing low distortion levels in a compact 1/3 rack format. The RNP possesses all the features you'd expect from a professional preamp: accurate signal metering,1MΩ input impedance DI inputs, high input level capability (up to +28dBu input), high-capacity phantom power supply, sealed relay switching for invert/phantom functions, gold-plated 12-position gain switch, TRS insert between preamp stage and output driver, +28dBu TRS-balanced outputs, 5kΩ differential input impedance on mic input, plus features like output muting during phantom engage/disengage and battery or AC mains operation.

Perfect Recording Chain at this Price Point! May 31, 2011

If you are looking for good and clean, the RNC and RNP will do that for you. Those two are just about as transparent and clean as it gets for under $1000. Front End's price and delivery were unbeatable! Highly Recommended!!
