Edstortion is a phenomenal pedal with an attitude to rock. With three different distortion technologies built in that are easily selectable by a mini switch, Edstortion allows you to achieve an incredibly wide spectrum of tones from heavy compressed distortion to very subtle crunch with great dynamic. What We Think

The Edstortion is a cool pedal. I am all about an analog tone when it comes to guitars, so I much prefer my amp's natural sound, or that of a solid stompbox. This pedal is a pure 60's (early 70's) tone. You want that grti and bite of the Rolling Stones, Who, or even Zepplin - this pedal will give you that. However, what surprised me (as a metal, punk, prog kind of guy), is how the pedal sounds when pushed to the limits (hiyo Paul Engemann). It becomes more of a Fuzz, a really gnarly fuzz (think Corrosion of Conformity - Deliverance). It also works very well as a booster in front of a dirty amp, to give you more bark. Maybe more suited for those wanting that vintage guitar tone, but sludge and doom bands would dig this too!
