The FM500/HC hypercardioid provides superb intelligibility and sound quality for applications requiring a tighter pickup pattern with greater off-axis rejection. At 19 inches, this is just the right length for most podium and church applications. The FM500/HC can be adjusted with no handling noise and it will stay where you put it. It is also the perfect size to position unobtrusively in an instrumental ensemble or in front of a choir for sound reinforcement or recording. Orators will be highly intelligible and you will have more gain before feedback. Available in cardioid and hypercardioid.

Earthworks Flex Series microphone offer the same great sound and open easy to use cardioid pickup as our SR69 but with a range of quiet, flexible neck lengths. These allow real time and real world adjustment of microphone positioning. Earthworks Flex mics are intended for podium use, hanging choir mics and for reaching into hard to reach places such as drums and dulcimers. The sound quality of the Flex mics is every bit as good as our SR69 for applications ranging from acoustic quitar to choirs. Earthworks Flex mics will also cleanly handle very loud sources like drums and guitar amps.
