The EAR Wedgit Direct Box functions much like any other guitar DI box, but better - and built into a nearly indestructible steel case too! Conceived as a direct response to a request from some of his very prestigious clients in the rock�n�roll world, Tim de Paravicini�s Wedgeit is a very high quality guitar DI box, designed to interface a typical electric guitar pickup to the best amplifiers, mixing consoles and recording machines. It has no voltage gain but features a very high input impedance, hence ensuring that the full bandwidth of the pickup is not compromised, and has a low output impedance allowing it to drive long cables. Its simple but highly efficient discrete-transistor circuit operates for up to 100 hours from an internal PP3 battery, or a cheap �wall-wart� supply can be used instead. A simple device that does a simple job as well as it can be done.
