E-Mu 0404 PCIe Digital Audio Recording System Details
The E-Mu 0404 PCIe Digital Audio System is the PCI Express version of E-Mu's Digital Audio System. The 0404 boasts a new high speed PCI Express 1 lane interface that can run at 400 megabytes per second and can transfer data 4 times faster than standard PCI in both directions simultaneously. By using a compact 1 lane PCI Express interface, the E-Mu Digital Audio System PCIe cards have the high speed necessary for multi-channel audio transfer, compatibility with new high speed Windows PC motherboards, while allowing full compatibility with 1, 4, 8 and 16 lane PCI Express slots.

The Digital Audio System software and drivers are compatible with Windows Vista, Windows Vista x64, Windows XP and XP x64. The hardware is PCIe base specification 1.1 compliant and has been extensively tested to ensure mutual compatibility and interoperability with a wide variety of motherboards.

E-MU Digital Audio Systems deliver everything you need to produce audio on a PC with professional results: hardware-accelerated effects and mixing, 24-bit/192kHz converters (the 1212M contain the same A/D converters used in Digidesign's ProTools HD 192 I/O interface), comprehensive digital options and seamless compatibility with your favorite PC audio/sequencer software.
