The Dynaudio LYD-7 Studio Monitor is a premium small-format near-field monitor in a sleek black finish. With its low volume precision, the LYD-7 is the perfect fit for small to medium rooms and home studios.
Compared to its smaller sized sibling, the LYD 7's larger woofer helps extends bass response. A ferrit magnet system with vented pole piece for accurate driver control. Large diameter voice coil surrounds the magnet for superior linearity. The aluminium voice coil and wire are low mass so its transient response is quick and accurate. To ensure the ideal mix between stiffness, weight, and dampening for unrivalled accuracy, we mould the diaphragm and dust cap in one piece with our proprietary Magnesium Silicate Polymer.

Best for the price
Feb 29th 2012I switched from the KRK vxt8's because of their exaggerated bass response. These are very honest monitors that translate very well in regards to mids and highs. You'll need to pair them with a sub for a good representation of bass frequencies, but overall a great set of monitors for the money.
