Upon recieving this mic I checked out the dual ribbon motor after hearing on GS that QA from China on these has been pretty bad. Well they are right so I'm like ok that's fine I'll send it back and get another one. Well I'm going on week 3 and CAD still hasn't sent a replacement. I've sent 3 emails to the corresponding RMA/sales person that was recommended through FEA and again he doesn't respond. Then I have to constantly call and try to track this thing down. All this for a 200$ mic. I guess you get what you pay for. So I'm hoping FEA issues me a refund and I'll buy something more reputable.

The novelty of being able to write the first review of something is just too tempting to resist, for some people. Call it raging egomania, or call it one's duty to society? At any rate, this is a fabulous mic, I'd call it an awesome room mic, first and foremost, because somehow it has a way of capturing a mighty helping of low end information clearly and evenly, as well as high end detail from sources a good ways off. Of course, one of the disadvantages of racing to be the first to review it is that you don't have a whole wealth of stories about how it performed in various situations. Well... you got to leave something for the second and third reviewers.
