CAD EPF-15A Nylon Popfilter Details
Your microphone is begging you for the CAD EPF-15A 6-Inch Flexible Pop Filter. Would you take your brand new microphone into the shower with you? Didn't think so! But every time your singer starts belting out the chorus, they're bathing that mic in a spray of moisture. What's more, when they sing a word that starts with "p" or "b," the VU meters go ballistic! Here's the solution the CAD Pop Filter. The washable nylon mesh screen gently breaks up that explosive rush of air while allowing high frequencies through and keeping moisture out. The flexible gooseneck holder and swivel mount make it easy to put the Pop Filter exactly where you need it!

I picked a couple of these on sale.  They work well and they're well made, with a sturdy clamp and gooseneck.  What a great deal!

FInally! August 26, 2012

I had yet to come across a pop filter that could consistently be mounted to the same stand as the mic I'm using and still get into the right position without constant re-adjustment. This one does it-- the swivel at the base of the hoop makes this a class "a" design. Now they need to study a few other designs to get a nylon that actually stops the plosives. It does a decent job but lets a lot more through than others. So...we're getting there!  A little cross pollination in the pop filter fields and we'd  have a seriously usable product.

Surprised and impressed! June 28, 2010

Full disclosure - I got this free with my CAD M179. However, it feels solidly built, and I won't hesitate to use it.

It has a couple of cool features that weren't included on the popper-stopper I bought for $40 off the rack at the guitar shop: it's got two layers of mesh, you can angle the head where it joins the gooseneck, and you can thread it onto the end of another mic stand if necessary.
