Beyerdynamic OPUS 66 Dynamic Percussion Microphone: Made because Toms and Snare Drums benefit from good microphone placement. The small size of the Opus 66 allows for correct placement without obstructing the skin. beyerdynamic has investigated the sound patterns of those drum parts and created the Opus 66 microphone to capture the moment with clarity. With a supercardioid response means that the pick-up pattern is tight allowing each drum the ability to express itself and to faithfully reproduce the sound of the most aggressive drummers.
