Beyer DT-1350 Review by Dale February 19, 2012
Reviewer: Dale Thorn from Seal Beach, CA United States
The DT-1350 has a significant emphasis in the midrange centered around 400 to 500 hz, which can affect a potential buyer's perception of it as a high fidelity headphone, and in some cases suggest to users that it has less than adequate bass. After spending much time with a current (Feb. 2012) sample, I've discovered that simply pushing down the midrange there with any common equalizer results in a sound that rivals some of the best headphones up to 700 dollars in price. This may seem incredible, but I have the Shure 940 and 1840, the Beyer DT-48A, the Grado PS-500, B&W P5, and recently the Sennheiser HD-800. The DT-1350 plays well against those other headphones, albeit it's not quite in the same league as the HD-800.

Good sound, little light in the midrange. Earcups are small so do not cover your entire ear.
