The X-FireWire Card uses an expansion slot Apogee's X-Series or Rosetta Series converters to give users of Logic, Nuendo and other popular software the option of amazing sounding Apogee conversion. Using Apple’s Core Audio FireWire driver for Macintosh and ASIO drivers for Windows XP, your hardware options for your DAW are greatly expanded.

Low Latency with FireMix
FireMix is a mixer application that allows control and creation of customizable sub-mixes for low latency performance in the native environment. FireMix features accurate input and output metering, 16bit fader control, and eight 48bit mix busses with enough DSP headroom to insure that there are no compromises to the audio quality. FireMix also has customizable pan control and key modifier user preferences to allow FireMix to operate in the same manner as your favorite audio application. With FireMix, you will get low latency monitoring, have the ability to save and recall all of your mixes, group and ungroup master faders all with little to no impact on your CPU performance.
