Photon 25 is a pretty standard midi keyboard controller. This is a must have if you are producing music through programs such as reason, or cubase, but if you using a basic fruity loops program, this controller is not for you, because alot of the functions on the controller you are not able to use in fruity loops. The timing is great, there is no latency or lag time. It has an back slot for pedal control, and also has midi in and out slots. Over all this is a pretty good controller, it is great for the price.
