The Alesis IO|2 USB Audio Interface is a tough-as-nails, portable 24-bit/96k interface that's unbeatably priced. This ultra-sturdy device features aluminum housing and is USB powered. Complete with low latency ASIO 2.0 drivers and Cubase LE recording software, just add a computer and record right out of the box. The IO|2 is equipped with professional mic-pres, phantom power and comprehensive metering. Its inputs can handle everything from mics to guitars to keyboards. Channel inserts are provided for outboard processing. It even has full MIDI and S/PDIF I/O.

Complete recording system with bundled software
The ultra-low latency ASIO 2.0 drivers and bundled Cubase LE software make the iO|2 a complete recording studio for musicians on the go. Just add a computer and you're ready to record right out of the box.

Quality mic preamps with phantom power and instrument inputs
The Alesis iO|2 has great mic preamps with 48-volt phantom power and comprehensive metering. The flexible inputs can handle everything from mics to guitars/basses to keyboards and have inserts for outboard processing. The iO|2 even has full MIDI and S/PDIF I/O so you won't need to buy or carry any additional gear.
